When you call for help with your church crisis, please don’t then go and yoke your church to church association you didn’t call because you didn’t trust them to help you.
The choice of a church association or denomination shouldn’t be a function of social influencers who are popular in your congregation. You didn’t call them.
Maybe yoke with those men you actually called for help; those men who actually helped you.

After seeing her, all I could think about was our First Lady covering her head for this important day and occasion. Not to imply that this has any real meaning for her, other than it being a fashion statement. But a quick online search suggests that the last time a First Lady covered her head for an inauguration was Nancy Reagan. And then Jackie Kennedy before her. For a split second, I remembered photos I’ve seen of American women in the past donning hats and scarves on their heads whenever they were out and about in public and at special events. Regal indeed. Maybe even right to use the words “fitting” and “appropriate”.
edit: apparently quite a few first ladies wore hats at inaugurations since Reagan, including Clinton and Bush. Still, couldn’t help but notice how much it stood out today. Or as an AI just summarized it in response to my question: “However, the trend of wearing hats at inaugurations has declined over the years, reflecting broader changes in fashion and societal norms.”

What you miss when you move from Wisconsin to southern Indiana is winter. It’s taken 33 yrs to get my fix of true winter again. It’s four degrees right now, and I love it. Snow has covered the ground for two weeks and I love it. PresTrump is in the White House and I love it.
