America has purchased our political union thru the blood of 50-100 million murdered babies these past fifty years.

Stop and consider how God heard the groanings of the Hebrews under Pharaoh in Egypt, and how by His strong arm He liberated them thru bloodshed.

America must return to the fear of God which leads to repentance. This and only this has been the core of American exceptionalism.

Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Seriously? The NYT leads with a pastor blathering in a barn about the American Revolution, instead of the well-funded, well-organized insurrection that the Left ran with the full collusion of the Democratic Party in the summer of 2020?

Well of course they did. It’s the New York Times, where a right-wing reaction to the Left’s predictable violence is always right around the corner. Any day now, guys.

Scripture commands “Behold then the kindness and severity of God.” God is kind, yes. God is also severe.

Do your sons and daughters trust God’s kindness?

Do your sons and daughters fear God’s severity?

The father whose children do not fear God should tremble and plead for them.

May I be permitted to say that, as far as little old me could tell, VP Harris has conducted herself with dignity the past week. It was honorable.

She reminded me of VP Pence.

In City of God Augustine addresses sacramental intermingling of Christians & pagans. He cautions true citizens of God’s city not 2b precipitous judging those who don’t truly belong. He points out God may yet call them to Himself.

Think Democrats. We must love our neighbors.

Would Augustine say, “No union with Democrats”?

Twenty-four hours on, and this seems to have completely rejuvenated the Democratic campaign.

Not sure Augustine would say anything about Democrats and abortion today, other than using it to delineate the eternal chasm between the City of Man and the City of God. Does “no union w/Democrats/Abortionists” have any substance outside the context of our democracy’s Civil War? Love,

Here are some convictions following the events of the past two weeks; but then, especially, Secret Service Director Cheatle’s hearing before the House Oversight Committee today.

First, Dir. Cheatle should not have the privilege of resigning. She should be fired every bit as publicly as her failure has been. Our nation needs to see very public discipline. We pay these feds and Dir. Cheatle’s firing is the only action that is commensurate to her failure.

Second, the more serious failure is that of Secretary Mayorkas of the Department of Homeland Security. He should resign or be fired. Let him take his pick.

Contrary to his subordinate, Dir. Cheatle who said the “buck stops with me,” it does not. Her Secret Service domain is under Homeland Security and we all know the impossibility of the massive failures surrounding the shooting of Pres. Trump go much deeper than what happened that day in Butler County PA.

Yet Secy. Mayorkas has announced he is in charge of the investigation and he is now appointing and announcing the women and men he’s chosen for his Investigation Committee.

The guy doesn’t get it. His administrative leadership at the top of a heap which includes the Secret Service is precisely what needs to be investigated. For him to choose the women and men who will investigate himself is a conflict of interest that should shock the nation.

Sadly, to this point it hasn’t.

In the end, one way or another, Dir. Cheatle will be gone. But she is the small fish and her removal must be only the beginning. Secy. Mayorkas cannot remain. The buck stops with him.

It may be the only way to reform the Secret Service is to remove it from under the Department of Homeland Security. Maybe we should call for its return to the Department of Treasury where it lived from 1865 to 2003.

Come to think of it, I would be very pleased if our nation would call for the shutting down of the entire Department of Homeland Security. We already have the Department of Defense to defend our homeland. Ridding ourselves of Homeland Security would be an excellent step toward ridding ourselves of the malicious and hidden deep state apparatus exercising monstrous political control over the very taxpayers who pay them.

Dear Pastor Tim,

I fail to see anything here other than the continued exploitation of an elderly man by a corrupt media and Democratic establishment. I imagine if the poll numbers were better he would still be in the race.

Perhaps I am being too cynical. I feel as if for the longest time I have tried to be a good son and walk in backwards to cover President Biden’s shame even as members of my own family scorned him and would not refer to him as President Biden which I rebuked.

The current gush of praise for President Biden seems to be very slanted towards shaping the narrative in the most positive way for the Democrats. It doesn’t seem sincere and if sincere is based on the lie that he had to run to save democracy and stop racists.

Much love

Dear Jonathan, well, I agree with you, also, and that leaves me having to explain my recommendation of the video. But all I can say is I think the man is sincere and the things he says are never said today, and should be. Sadly, it has to do with politics and Democratic politics as well, but it doesn’t change the truth of most of what he says in the large picture. More love,

I admit that I am a little sensitive about President Biden. My dear grandfather died a few years into President Bidens term and they were near enough in age that I began to pity the President. I imagined the roles reversed and it just infuriated me. The president should be at home, enjoying his family. How alone he must have been during his four years. It’s such a burden and one that we keep asking grandfathers to carry.

Thank you for the response.

President Trump almost died for the people, the party, the democracy, the country, for his dreams to be President again. (Obviously only from the perspective of this fans.) It revitalized his campaign and the Republican party.

President Biden did die to his dreams. He laid everything but his life down for the sake of the people, the party, the democracy, the country. (Obviously only from the perspective of the Left.) His sacrifice may well have been the only thing that could revitalize the Democratic Party campaign.

Whether he was forced into it or not, obviously he is loved for having done it.
