I thought I would post a link to Pastor Jerry Dorris most recent Substack article. Pastor Dorris is the Senior Pastor of Reformation Church Shelbyville, a local Reformed Baptist Church that Sovereign King Church has partnered with many times.
It is a very helpful account of a member that they had to discipline in their church for the Heresy of Annihilationism.
I find it interesting that the man they expelled hung around for as long as he did. In most other cases, IMHO, the person concerned would have long âslipped the mooringsâ and left quietly once he recognised that whatever his views, they were not going to be accepted by the wider church at large. Weâve all seen people leave for âtheological differencesâ a lot less significant than this one.
