My baggage is my family grew up watching this every St. Patrick’s day (along with Darby O’Gill and the Little People). Mom usually fixed corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots with soda bread.

I think that the take you all had is interesting. I had always looked at Seans journey as being the journey of a man who learns the proper use of a thing. He gave up his ability to be dangerous because he abused it for worldly means. His unwillingness to fight for his wife or to even explain it is his failure. She is not above reproach and the podcast has helped me to place her character with more agency.

Jakes guess about Mary Kate whispering that she is pregnant to Shawn is the best head cannon I have ever heard. I will share that with my family.
