Very helpful episode. As so often, you’ve put into words something I’ve long felt but struggled to articulate. It’s so important for those of us who are repenting to be sensitive to others who are trying but face more obstacles than we do. I know I’ve been guilty of being cage stagey about things.

There’s probably a flip side though (being too sympathetic). I actually usually want to go out and burn a lung dart with my smoking patients. And I find docs and nurses who’ve never smoked have quite a bit of contempt for their smoking patients.
