Talking about churches requiring ministers to have women elders, I was rejected from even consideration as a minister partly because of this requirement by two churches - one in NZ and one in Australia. I even said I’d teach both sides of the issue in church, and work with women elders, but I wouldn’t put any forward for appointment.
It went no further.

I doubt it. I hadn’t even begun the process of being a minister. It’s easy not to start. Harder to stop when you are in the midst of it all.
