Quick question - is there a recommended translation? Just go Tolkien in honor of LOTR or is there a more definitive translation?
I don’t know that I’ll ever end up reading it, but possibly. These legends certainly get my curiosity. And I always like a story with talking disembodied heads.
Idk about definitive but Tolkien is good. I read one by Benedict Flynn that I liked.
The fact that this episode got called the “mean green” knight is a mistake. But one that I feel I should definitely leave the way it is.
I was gonna go with “the Big Green.”
I waffled a lot. Some of my other ideas were a lot worse. So there’s that.
