Why do you guys like anime? It would be interesting to hear your take on anime culture today. Granted, I have not listened past the ten minute mark.
I understand just because an art form tends to produce a certain lifestyle doesn’t mean it is inherently bad. But the amount of androgyny produced out of that industry–whether in the art itself or in the consumers–is astonishing. I’ve seen people consumed by it and have to repent. (I am not including things like Spirited Away). This is also out of my interest and expertise, which is why I don’t know what to do with anime.
