I know that those are obvious Scriptures in this context … The word “vocation” is derived from the Latin vocare, “to call”. I think half the battle is recognising what God has specifically called you to. It took a failed attempt to get into banking to help me recognise what I was actually called to do, which was to work in the transport industry.
