Somewhere, Doug Wilson makes the distinction between being ‘celibate’ (=gifted for the single life) and ‘continent’. How useful is it in this discussion?

As much as Christians are called to marry, we know that that will not always be possible. Sometimes, for good reasons (e.g. Luke 18:29); frequently, not. If so, it seems to me that we have to be able to articulate an alternative that is both feasible and pastorally robust. Does Doug’s approach provide it?
