Men and women: the state of our disunion (response to some criticisms)

I really take joy in the saltiness of this framework of maleness and femaleness, husbands and wives. Maybe it is because my spaces don’t operate by these rules that I am so hungry for it. I don’t consider myself a great theologian, and my judgments can be wrong and get corrected over time, but I do have eyes to see and I see how husbands and wives operate in my own church. I have suspicions about what is going on, and why, and one of these days I’ll speak to an elder about it, hopefully one that is a disinterested party (ie: concerned, but not guilty themselves). I just don’t think much of this gets on their radar, since the felt needs of our congregation seem to take precedence over purity.
