The community is still kind of janky in the browser of a phone screen, though it’s one of the nicer implementations I’ve seen. Is there an app to download that I can use to log into this community?

Short answer: Nope. This is a javascript web app only, designed that way from the start, intentionally.
Longer answer: Sort of (and I do use it), but it’s just a wrapper for your phone’s built-in web browser, so it probably doesn’t solve anything you’re finding “janky” on mobile. It won’t even support push notifications on iOS, though that’s something we could add if we get some money. iOS app here and Android app here.
