Crystal Skull suffers from the same flaws as the new star wars movies. It has all these interesting concepts and pieces and it has no idea how to actually tell an interesting story given its big sand box.

3 thoughts after listening:

  1. Although both are terrible, the nuclear blast fridge scene is orders of magnitude worse than the raft out of a plane scene.

  2. Your fix of the nuclear blast scene would have totally worked; in fact, it probably would have turned it into one of the best scenes in the movie. It would have evoked things like the helicopter scene in Raiders or Indy going to pull his gun in Temple and finding it missing. It would have been iconic.

  3. You guys are the new, younger, Lawrence Kasdan. Seriously, someone better hire you for Indy 5
