Helpful. I have been struggling with how I framed the idea of the redemption of women through men under the last thread on 1 Corinthians 11:2-16. I had based it on Aquinas’ discussions about angels and the nature of man taken on by Christ, but I was unhappy with that because it is not discussed in quite that way in the Bible. Reading this was a head-smacking moment: of course it’s just the headship of Adam framed in a different way.
