Thank you, an excellent reminder, no matter the season, but particularly apropos for me at this time of year as I tend towards being a bit of a Grinch. However, when I look at how God has blessed me with such abundant gifts, such mercy and grace, such a wonderful family, a blessed church family, good teaching to either encourage me or afflict my conscience (like this article for example)how can I be anything but thankful?

I love the HISappointment pun. Why? Because there’s something inside me that tells me I shouldn’t. I also imagine the sort of person who would not like the pun, and I want to annoy that sort of person by liking it. It may not be very Christian of me, but I’m not above doing certain things out of spite.
I think I will start using that with my children.
