New Warhorn Media post by Tim Bayly:
Very helpful episode. Thank you.
When I used to work at our local jail, I would always wonder why the women were so much more violent and cruel than the men. I would venture to say that out of every 100 incidents I was involved in, 70 were women and it was much more violent than the other incidents that involved the men.
The women would pull hair, poke eyes, scratch, attempt to tear ears off, all sorts of things. I have several memories of the women just losing all sense of humanity when they were attempting to fight us or each other. The men always fought by a code. Even the worst of them. They would fight fair, in a sense, even if they were trying to kill each other. Even if they fought us officers, there were never any low blows or sneaky tactics. It was always straight up man to man fighting.
I always found it so fascinating and have had several conversations with people trying to figure it out.
I say this to say that Pastor Tim’s theory that the women fight that way because by the time the bloodshed gets to them, all rules are gone, is so intriguing. God designed them in such a way that when a fight reaches a woman, it’s life or death. If I’m misunderstanding Pastor Tim, please feel free to correct. But I found it fascinating.
Thanks for the podcast!
Yes, that’s my best guess, and thanks for the accounts.
