10+ years in prison for protesting infanticide

Five pro-life activists have been found guilty on charges of conspiracy against rights and violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act in connection with a 2020 “rescue action” they undertook at a Washington, D.C.–based abortion clinic.

“Judge Kollar-Kotelly has repeatedly shown her pro-abortion bias during this trial and made a total mockery of our justice system,” Live Action founder Lila Rose said in a post on [Twitter]. “She failed to know decades-old abortion laws, openly mocked the defendants, and refused key evidence to the defense.”

“This potential sentencing of 11 years in prison is a blatant abuse of political power against pro-lifers,” she added. “The FACE Act was created with the explicit purpose of targeting pro-life Americans who are using their free speech to protect the right to life of vulnerable preborn children.”

We won’t prosecute violent crimes, or uphold the death penalty for murderers, but sacrilege against the temples of child sacrifice is met with swift retribution. This lawlessness seems above and beyond even what’s become typical from the Biden DOJ. Please pray for these brothers:

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.” 1 Peter 4:12-13

For comparison with the 11 years imprisonment and $350,000 fine, in DC, crowding or obstructing a business entrance is punishable by up to 90 days in prison and up to $500. That gives some measure to how much this judge, jury and government love death.

Just went to a pro-life protest march in London.

A small group of Reformed Baptists on the march were singing ‘A Mighty Fortress’ to wind up ‘the Papists.’

But very thankful to see a number of people I knew who were also concerned about this issue. Maybe a cloud the size of a man’s fist…
