No patience for Arab protests, and I’m no Zionist. Someone once said something abt those who “live by the sword…”
I’m not following. What do the numbers have to do with your lack of patience for Arab protests?
Think abt the judgment behind the protests, which is that the killing of IDF is disproportionate to the October 7 killings of Hamas. Eleven percent of Michigan Democrats voted “uncommitted” in their primary. It was an organized protest against President Biden’s support of Israel, thus failing to bring the IDF’s killing to an end. There’s lots of support for these protests across America by Christians, media, intellectuals, etc. who are neither Muslim nor Arab.
So what do we say about our own War on Terror? Was that killing disproportionate, also? Its proportionality is certainly hugely disproportionate to the proportionality of IDF’s war against Hamas.

Yes, the “War on Terror” was clearly lacking proportion, among other things. And I have so far not spent much time studying, but I’m inclined to agree with Greenwald: We should not be funding or supporting Israel’s war.
Well, maybe not, but I’m appalled at the lack of pushback against demonstrators against Israel. It’s one thing to stay out of it for our own reasons, but quite another for reasons founded in opposing Israel’s own judgment about how best to continue to defend itself against terrorism. As for our War Against Terror being disproportionate, I’m inclined to agree. It always seemed disproportionate to me and a fool’s errand. “Bring democracy to Islamic states.” Absurd, as it has proven. Love,
