Wow! I checked for an obit for him, and if I found the correct one, he was 93 when he departed.
In his case, if his wife Carolyn is correct as well, his long life is a vivid testimony to our Lord’s patience and also (possibly) to the powers of sin and darkness which resist the gospel. Perhaps he is going to be an evangelistic example of our Lord’s words in Matthew 19:26.
